J.B. Dough -- GIVEAWAY!



Yes! It's time for another giveaway! In my previous entry, I used a bread mix from the company J. B. Dough. I had the opportunity to speak with John and Beverlee, the owners and dreammakers of this company. What a great couple they are. The business is family owned and operated. Everything used from ingredients, to packaging, to supplies, are 100% made in the USA, which at this time is a comfort.



I am a breadmaker. But I know many people are intimidated with the idea of making anything requiring yeast. Well, now you have something to help you out that tastes wonderful and like you made it from scratch!



I have tried a few of these mixes for myself and was happy with the product and feel good sharing it with you. At this time, JB Dough can only be purchased online, unless you live in Michigan where they do sell in retail outlets locally. It was also really neat to learn they offer their bread for fundraising! I'm definitely going to remember that next time I am in charge of fundraising efforts for Girls Camp at church.



John and Beverlee were very generous when they shipped me product to sample. I have extra and while I would be more than happy to use it for myself, I thought I would give what I have away to some of my readers. No worries.. I think I will be getting more from them and will have another giveaway in the future! Woot!



I'm going to make this giveaway a little more fair. If you would please leave a comment, making sure you leave your NAME, tell me what your favorite kind of bread is!     My fave bread is called Malt Bread. It's a dark tube shaped loaf that is wonderfully flavor full and slightly chewy when toasted...I can only find it in Canada and I miss it.
    Oh and I am totally a yeastophobic. Making things with yeast scares me!!

    I'm Carole and my favorite bread is Wegman's Cheese Bread. The only thing is, we have no Wegman's where I live now! :-( Luckily we have friends in Syracuse, NY who bring us Cheese Bread when they visit. :-)

    I love all kinds of bread, but my favorite is probably sourdough. I love the crusty outer shell, and the soft doughy insides!

    I don't know if I can pick just one. I really like cheese bread, honey wheat and french bread in that order. I've been a little more adventurous with bread since I tried your french bread.

    I just love bread! When I was growing up, my mo would make a huge batch of basic bread dough, cut it into 4 portions and each of us would get to choose their own type of flavoring. I most often chose cinnamon raisin or cheese. Still my favorites!

    My favorite breads are baguette's and whole wheat sandwich bread. I've just started making my sandwich bread and love the taste.

    Miki here and I am a breadaholic. I love all kinds of bread..so how can I pick just one? Well if I have too, I guess it would be fresh, warm sourdough. MMMMMMMM I could eat a whole loaf myself!

    I'm Heather and my favorite bread is called "English Muffin Bread" - it's a mock sourdough that I got out of an OLD Better Homes & Gardens style single subject cookbook.
    I'm actually pretty good with bread but I always love trying new kinds and styles. Bread.... mmm.

    My name is Kris. My FAVORITE type of bread is sourdough! I recently learned to make pumpkin butter, and oh my, sourdough - toasted - buttered and then slathered with pumpkin butter - YUMMMMMMMM!!!!

    My name is Jenny and my favorite bread is my Grandmother's wheat bread recipe. I believe she got it from an elementary school when my Mom was little. It's a Thanksgiving tradition to have loaves of the bread. I've now started making it for my husband's side of the family on Christmas and they love it!

    My favorite type of bread is anything I can warm up and put butter on: biscuits, rolls, garlic bread, Italian, French, white, wheat, etc. I love it all!

    I love a cheddar and onion bread a friend of mine use to make but I never got the recipe... bummer. I make bread from scratch but love easy mixes for when I have less time. Where are you going to be at in New York? New York City? Any way love reading your ideals.
